Restore Your Core & Pelvic Floor

Ideal for every woman (whether you've had a vaginal/cesarean birth or have not given birth) . It's never too late to see a pelvic health physiotherapist.

Find out:

  • How YOUR core is working and how to use it optimally to best support for your body.

  • How to manage, reduce, or resolve diastasis (abdominal separation), low back/pelvic girdle/tailbone pain incontinence, prolapse, pubic symphysis pain, urinary urgency, urinary frequency, internal pelvic pain during intercourse (dyspareunia), vaginismus.

  • How to decrease scar tension  (cesarean, vaginal, appendectomy or other surgeries) to allow your core to work more efficently.

  • Appropriate exercises that are efficient to retrain your core including pelvic floor (kegels aren't always the answer).

  • Effective steps to return to activities you enjoy.

Your individualized treatment may include any of the following:

  • Education about what can be contributing to your symptoms

  • Internal pelvic floor manual therapy to decrease tension and increase strength/support for your pelvic and whole body system

  • External manual therapy

  • Manual scar release techniques to improve core function and decrease pain (vaginal, cesarean, episiotomy, appendectomy)

  • Acupuncture

  • Craniosacral therapy

  • Kinesiotape

  • Guidance and individualized support with returning to exercise and sports you love

  • A home exercise program tailored to your goals

All physiotherapy consultations are one-on-one with your registered physiotherapist either virtually or

in-person in a private treatment room.

* Anita and Laine are both happy to collaborate with other health, birth and fitness professionals you may be working with. If you don't currently have a support team, they can recommend other professionals that can help you reach your pregnancy and health goals.
