Prepare for Pregnancy

This is ideal for women thinking of or currently trying to become pregnant. Why not prepare your body ahead of time to create a strong foundation for your little one to grow? Physiotherapy can help prevent, manage, reduce and resolve unwanted pelvic floor concerns and create a comfortable positive pregnancy experience.

Find out:

  • How physiotherapy can help for pelvic pain conditions that can be connected to fertility such as endometriosis.

  • How YOUR core is working and how to use it optimally to create the best support for your body in preparation

       for pregnancy.

Your individualized treatment may include any of the following:

  • Internal pelvic floor manual therapy to decrease tension and increase strength/support for your pelvic floor and entire body.
  • External manual therapy.

  • Myofascial cupping.

  • Craniosacral therapy.

  • Acupuncture and dry needling.

  • Guidance and individualized support for exercise and sports you love.

  • A home exercise program tailored to your goals which may involve yoga and Pilates based therapeutic exercises.

All physiotherapy consultations are one-on-one with your registered physiotherapist in a private treatment room.

* Anita is happy to collaborate with other health, birth and fitness professionals you may be working with. If you don't currently have a support team, she can recommend other professionals that can help you reach your pregnancy and health goals.
