Prepare for Pregnancy

This is ideal for women thinking of or currently trying to become pregnant. Why not prepare your body ahead of time to create a strong foundation for your little one to grow? Physiotherapy can help prevent, manage, reduce and resolve unwanted pelvic floor concerns and create a comfortable positive pregnancy experience.

Your individualized treatment may include any of the following:

  • Internal pelvic floor manual therapy to decrease tension and increase strength/support for your pelvic floor and entire body.
  • External manual therapy.

  • Craniosacral therapy.

  • Acupuncture.

  • Guidance and individualized support for exercise and sports you love.

  • A home exercise program tailored to your goals which may involve strength training, yoga and Pilates based therapeutic exercises.

All physiotherapy consultations are one-on-one with your registered physiotherapist either virtually or in-person in a private treatment room.
